Ramon Theater

WOW!!! Time certainly does fly. We’re closing in on this year’s GALA and, once again, we’re asking for your help to assist us in our mission to keep the Ramon going strong, providing arts and entertainment for our area.

A little bit about us

As you probably know, The Ramon Theater was built in 1925 and was originally used for vaudeville and silent movies. The Ramon later became the community’s only movie theater until the late 1960s. Restored in the 2000s, our historic theater now hosts our Entertainment Series of concerts, Murder Mystery events, Christmas programs, and other civic events.

How can you help?

We are asking for your support for our annual fundraiser in the form of sponsorship and/or program ad purchase or by buying tickets and attending the event, as the Gala is our main source of income. Maintaining a nearly 100-year-old building can be expensive and there are several major areas, such as the roof, that need to be addressed soon.

What is the Gala?

This year’s Gala will be September 21, 2024. Our theme this year is “Retro Rewind: Back to the 80s”. We will have dinner, music, entertainment, a silent auction, and our very special guest emcee, Sheriff Grady Judd. We would love to see you there. Event tickets are $50.
